Is a wife entitled to maintenance during iddat and beyond under the West Pakistan Family Courts Act?

Maintenance during subsistence of marriage and the iddat period is well established. The Family Court has jurisdiction to fix a reasonable amount having regard to the husband's means and the wife's status. Dower is a separate, independent obligation and its decree does not bar maintenance.
